“This project showcased an exemplary range of skilfully detailed, intricate and diverse carvings, crafts skills and associated works.”

“The building was in a perilous state and close to collapse from rot but is now safe and watertight thanks to their skill. In conjunction with the conservation architect they have been proactive in providing solutions to the inevitable unexpected problems arising in this type of project. Overall, the quality of all the workmanship at LTM is exemplary and the pride that their craftsmen and women take in it is shared by us.”

“We're particularly pleased that LTM employed apprentices onsite.”

“Provan Hall looks amazing after its sympathetic restoration, and it is a fantastic community asset. It really is an architectural gem with an astonishing wealth of history which has been preserved for future generations to enjoy.”

“We set out to use salvaged Scottish granite with dressed granite accessories and all to a very high standard. As part of our exercise we visited various stone masonry firms... We soon established that their company would be the most suited to our project. We were impressed with their work and in particular the structure of their company which greatly encouraged and developed their workforce.”

“We wish again to emphasise our appreciation of the excellent work you have completed at Teampall na Trianaid. All reports coming to us about your work are very positive.”

“It was a great pleasure to work with someone who is not only efficient and skilled, but also understands the importance of putting in that extra effort which means getting something absolutely right. The mark of a true craftsman, I couldn’t have asked for more.”

“We are delighted to have worked with the owners and contractors on this project which has seen one of Cambusbarron’s local landmarks conserved for the future. Its repair has greatly contributed to the quality and character of the area.”

“The work undertaken has been fantastic and I've been impressed by everyone involved working as such an effective team.”

“I made a visit to the completed church works and thought the church was looking great, alongside providing a few Aberdeen City Council parks maintenance officers a tour of the completed works which they were really impressed by.”

“I visited the ongoing works to the Dining Room ceiling at Glamis Castle and met with your specialist conservator, who showed me the works and talked me through the traditional repair strategy, all of which was very satisfactory and in line with the recommended repair strategy that we prepared. I was also pleased to see how tidy the rooms were being kept during the works.”

“Thank you and your site personnel for the attention you have given the project over the preceding months.”

“The transformation of the external fabric is remarkable.”

“The PSHCG wishes to thank all of the design team and the contractor for their dedication and hard work bringing this project forward to enable our successful official opening day on 12th July. This progression could not have happened without the perseverance of all involved.”

“It all looks great and we're really pleased with how this project turned out. Thanks to everyone at LTM for their hard work on this!”

“Thank you very much for all the work that you and your team have put into this cottage. I am very pleased with the result.”

“Comments on your cooperative running of the job ... are very well-deserved. ... People on the outside were always impressed by the way the men and woman tackled their tasks with vigour.”

“The overall appearance of the cleaning and repair works is outstanding. This is due to the continuous attention to quality and detail that has been present throughout the works. A high level of consistency, critical to the final appearance of the project, has been achieved. The final appearance of the cleaned and repaired sandstone tracery to the Quadrangle is particularly pleasing for its sensitivity to the historic value of this stonework.”

“They provided an excellent survey service and liaised with my architect and local authorities to determine an honest and sympathetic scheme. They performed a rigorous historical analysis in the context of my intended conversion and produced an excellent report complete with photographs and detailed advice on finishes. I was slightly apprehensive at the outset that their approach was aimed towards the very top end of the market however this proved completely unfounded. Their fee was very reasonable and in my case the pragmatic and honest scheme they proposed dramatically reduced construction costs, in addition to adding value to the finished product. I would strongly recommend that anyone involved in property development use LTM, whether it be a small cottage or a medieval castle.”

“We were extremely pleased with LTM Group's construction of our four-bay garage. They skilfully integrated the new structure with the existing estate, resolving challenges proactively and maintaining a safe, considerate work environment. Their professionalism and quality craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The finish to our building is of the highest standard.”
Since 1999, LTM has grown significantly in scale and stature. We employ skilled craftspeople across masonry, stone conservation, plastering, joinery, leadwork, slating and conservation, with teams in Aberdeenshire and Stirling serving all of Scotland and its neighbouring islands.
