About LTM Group
Building the future. Repairing the past.
Laing Traditional Masonry Group is a multi-award-winning conservation contractor with a proven record of delivering nationally recognised heritage projects, including RIBA, RIAS, RICS Scotland, Scottish Design Award, Scottish Heritage Angel Award and Argyll and Bute Design Award-winning restorations throughout Scotland.
Laing Traditional Masonry Group (LTM Group) is a principal contractor and specialist conservation contractor for Scotland’s historic buildings. Our own teams cover stonemasonry and carving, stone conservation and cleaning, lime harling, pointing and plastering, slating, leadwork and joinery, so one contractor can take a listed building from survey and specification through to completion.
“My journey as a stone mason with Historic Scotland at Elgin Cathedral deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship and history. Since founding LTM in 1999, we have completed over 1,000 repair and restoration projects — each one a reminder of the importance of expertise, craftsmanship and respect for the materials that define our historic structures.”
